It's one of the longest suspension bridges in the country. Actually, it was constructed inorder to connect the villages on the other side of the river to Punakha, which is the district head quarter before the motorable road was constructed.
It is just a suspension bridge. So you can walk across the bridge to the other side and if you want can have tea or coffee on other side as there is a small tea house.
