Brief Background

It's just a beautiful valley. It about hours plus drive from Chamkhar. People here generally depend on the animal and their product for the livelihood, but they also grow wheat, buckwheat, etc, and recently even rice cultivation is introduced.

Once you reach there you can also visit one museum Ugyencholing Musuem, which is managed privately. It's a rich museum you will be able to see galleries such as Agriculture, kitchen, food store, textiles, etc which shows how people were living in ancient times. On top, there are galleries for arms and armors, etc.

You can order the home cook food at the museum or its good to go with hot pack lunch and can find a space by riverside  or forest to dine your self.
